KUMAR SINGH - SENIOR PROJECT ARCHITECT
Kumar has a Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Architectural Studies and Diploma in Architectural Technology from Unitec New Zealand and is a registered architect with the Architects Registration Board of Victoria. Kumar has 10+ years of industry experience in which time he has also practiced as a Registered Architect in New Zealand and been involved hands-on in the built environment on the construction site.
As a senior project architect Kumar believes one of the useful qualities he carries is the ability to think critically and logically under pressure. He savours the challenge of fulfilling, if not exceeding, a client’s expectations by interpreting and creating a conceptual response to the project brief, and successfully communicating this response both verbally and visually using the skill set he has developed during his training and work experience.
He has experience in a wide range of projects including educational, residential, healthcare, retail, commercial, recreational and master planning. He has led projects in all phases as a design architect, project architect, project manager, team leader or as a superintendent during the contract administration. Kumar has worked on projects for the Department of Health and Human Services and the education sector, including projects for Box Hill Institute, Melbourne Polytechnic, St. Mary’s College (Auckland), Bass Coast Health, and Rainbows End Theme Park. Kumar takes great interest in the shift from concept to reality and successfully delivering projects to a very high standard. His work experience has equipped him with leadership and technical skills to successfully manage a range of projects, consultants, project control groups, clients, and community groups.
Experience: Kumar is a dynamic and ambitious architect with 10 years’ industry experience. Since graduating with a Master’s degree in Architecture he has been involved in various design projects in aged cared, educational, residential, industrial, commercial, retail architecture and urban and master-planning design.

Expertise: Kumar possesses impeccable technical knowledge and a high level of expertise in detail documentation, contract administration and spatial and master planning. He is also well skilled with advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, Sketchup 3D Modelling, Adobe Photoshop and other rendering software. Involved in all phases of the project from initial briefing to handover and beyond, Kumar is very comfortable with managing projects from start to finish. Kumar’s attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills ensures that every project he works on is done accurately and to the highest possible standard. Kumar is very comfortable in participating in Project Control Groups and Contractors and has delivered projects on time and within budget to a very high standard. His verbal and written communication skills and positive attitude and personality make him a key team member.
